BNTUMA [ben 🞄 too 🞄 mah ] is a collective founded by Araba B. Graham, a Ghanaian-American designer passionate about creating accessible and socially responsible garments through innovation. With over 10+ years of garment making experience, every commissioned garment is made with intention. We believe clothes have no gender and that every body deserves garments that fit beautifully, feel comfortable, and express authentic style. Our work explores the idea of deconstructing and decolonizing the way we dress - whether for everyday routines or grand celebrations. BNTUMA is not only sustainable but also very culture focused. BNTUMA continues the legacy of custom clothes making and tailoring. A typical custom in West Africa, specifically Ghana. Garment making in Ghana is a vital sector to the Ghanaian economy and culture. Everyone you meet has at least 1 local family seamstress and tailor they visit to get casual and occasional garments made for them. It’s a way of life that has shaped BNTUMA as a business structure and design philosophy. We are intentional from locally sourced textiles to functionality and accessibility of clothes. We make 1 of 1 clothes that specifically fit you. For any occasion and life’s milestones. We implore you to be curious, be colorful. Be bold. Be you - every day, every occasion. Thank you for visiting our portfolio. We invite you to explore our work, immerse yourself in our designs, and imagine the possibilities we can create together. Let’s embark on a journey that inspires, connects, and leaves a lasting impact. -Araba, CEO & Founder
